My name is Jouyin Teoh and I am a Malaysian entrepreneur who specialises in building networks in the health and wellness industry. I am currently involved in content development for early childhood learning and teacher training, and was previously part of an interdisciplinary team working with special needs children in a private community rehabilitation centre. I am also part of an international team of occupational therapists from the Kawa Model team facilitating professional development in culturally relevant, holistic healthcare practice to occupational therapists across 6 continents around the world.
I did my Bachelors of Occupational Therapy at the National University of Malaysia. However, I am privileged to have had opportunities to learn from several renowned experts in occupational therapy from around the globe, most notably my research supervisor Dr Michael Iwama, author of the critically acclaimed The Kawa Model: Culturally Relevant Occupational Therapy.
I typically spend whatever little unproductive time I have in the company of my loved ones - family, close friends, significant other and dog.
